I've seen Collin's Gem dictionaries in the US. Re
the Cassell's, I've had no troubles with the
hardback edition - and it's been hard wearing. I
bought a pb A&G (reprint) grammar at the same
time as the hb dictionary. Guess which one is
still around! :) The A&G disintigrated within
about 4 years and has since been replaced with a
real A&G.
