Something I have long wanted to know, and maybe this group happens to
have an answer. The kings of Spain from 1700 to 1833 (if I read the
charts right) were dukes of Anjou, a title now held by the king's
cousin. Is there a Spanish form of the name `Anjou'?
How would you render it in your conlang? (The Latin form is
`Andegavensis'.)

Anton Sherwood, http://www.ogre.nu/Wouldnt that be an adjectival form? Well lets see what Andegavensis would become in Carthaginian . . . Angavensu for a masculine, Angavensa for feminine, and Angavensi for neuter singular. For the plurals just add the "s". The pronunciation would be /aNga'venSu/ etc. Of course that's only true if the word was inherited from Latin which I don't really see happening. It would probably be a more or less direct borrowing from French or Provencal. In that case it would be Anju /anZu/ for the place and anjusu /anZuzu/, anjusa, anjusi for the adjectives.
