For aesthetic purposes, no ;) (well, let me consider it....).
Although......that would make the words even more different than they are
now (i did have añio - /aNjo/). Hmm, i kind of dig that:

anno - andro
canna - candra

Question: in a language, is it possible for the same sound to go two
different routes as the language evolves. Like, nn goes to /Nj/ and then
later it goes to /ndr/?
