i find it still confusing that "can" is expressed by a suffix,
whereas "try" is expressed by a prefix and "want" is expressed by a
verb. can anyone comfort me? :)

i don't know about comforting you, but "try" is now the verb "gixo" instead of prefix "tea-".
keep trying with "-sn-"; you'll get used to it.  it has to do with the meaning of the suffix:  quality or ability.  as a quality, i doubt that it gives you much trouble.  the ability part will come too.
