Yes. In fact, it would be better, since it's less ambiguous. "Di tato"
should also be converted to an open adjective:
Batsa kibyo bufye taskinzu bamwa buho ne dindu tato?
Who is the stranger giving a talk about his research in the
auditorium?
Note that we must also use "ne" here, so that "dindu" modifies "bufye"
rather than "bamwa".
