Well, 'culo' is 'perceive,' so

samculo - to perceive oneself
samculoka - self-perception

samculo would mean 'feel' in many contexts:

go samculo dormfo.   I feel sleepy.

so beharmfeysamculo would be 'insecurity'?

I think it would be better to get away from thinking of it as a kind of vulnerability.  It's more like un-self-confident or self-confidence-lacking.
How about something like "samxur" and its opposite?  Samxru?
