Sure.  In English we awkwardly say "of average height/size/length.  I
presume you derive 'ver' from 'average'.  Indeed, if a Ceqli word exists
meaning 'average', such a compound is inevitable.

Probably true.  Then I'd pick 'haym', as in Jotunheim.

Hamerhaym, Franhaym, Heqlahaym, Joqhaym, Barahaym....
