So that phrasing is a lot like Lojban's quantifiers - except that the "kul" doesn't do anything, because if you just say "I want a thing" ("Go vol ta da") it has the same meaning - out of all the things there are, there is one that you want. Other languages get by with saying "It doesn't matter what", and I think that would be a reasonable solution. I don't think this usage of "any" is so common that it requires an article of its own. -- Rob Speer
