I've been thinking about 'any'. The point that in English it has a useful meaning, as in "Which book do you want?" "Any." And the usage in "I don't have any." which is different. Zi vol kwasa hon? Which book do you want. Go vol kulsa hon. I want all the books. Go vol han to hon. I want one of the books. This last can be taken to mean that I want any one of the books, right? If I want a specific book, I'd specify which. I'm confusing myself. How does Mandarin handle 'any'? -- >PLEASE NOTE MY NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS: rmay@hidden.email > Rex F.
