Since the concern with my C(C)V(V) pivor form seems to be the loss of CV and CVV as predicate forms, how about this compromise: XV(V), where X is either a plosive or a consonant combination that has a plosive in it. (I suppose that plosive+weak shouldn't count, as that would step on predicates like "plei".) So I think the possible combinations would then be: b d g k p t ck cp ct dj jb jd jg sk sp st tc zb zd zg plus a e i o u y ai ei oi au ia ie io iu ua ue ui uo ...for 360 possible pivor. Given And's reduction of the cmavo down to 210, this should be enough. This would still lose "sa" as a pivor. Too bad; I find it rather pleasant. -- Rob Speer
