I would recommend allowing words to begin with a vowel in Ceqli, and allowing the optional insertion of glottal stop in this position, as in English and German. The glottal stop could be unwritten; no amibuity would result, if words are separated by spaces. This unwritten consonant would be analogous to Ceqli's unwritten schwa phoneme. --And.
