The 'twe...betwe' system seems to work well enough - it seems rather
unlikely that 'betwe' would occur within a name.
But even that limitation could be avoided. What Lojban does for foreign
names is {la'o X name X}, where X is any Lojban word which doesn't occur
within the name. (The word 'gy' is often used for this - it's the letter
G, standing for 'glico', indicating that the name comes from English).
