How do you refer to > someone named "Betty" unambiguously? They can't, alas, be called 'Betty' in Ceqli, just like one can't be called 'Earl' in Japanese. Or sort of like that. Your last name is a good Ceqli name, whether you pronounce it Spir or Sper or Xper. But your first name wd have to be translated, just as nonMandarin names are either translated or approximated in Mandarin. I _do_ want a t-word, tho, that will say 'Between tX and betX is a foreign name' when you need to do it. Let's say twe and betwe. Natch, rules are that no morphem can begi with 'twe-' Ti Hemaw dze duq beti cinabol sa kyam bi twe maw dze duq betwe. -- >PLEASE NOTE MY NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS: rmay@hidden.email > Rex F.
