Sure thing.  It's an idea that started with either me or Loglan or Lojban, I
can't remember which.  As all nouns begin with consonants, they can be
symbolized by those consonants.  To quote from my site:

"The consonant names have a special use, in a system borrowed from Loglan.
They act
as referential pronouns when necessary:

To gasa selkarnepe pa xau ta Jan Karvilpe sta to hongudom.

The big butcher saw John Wheelwright in the library.

Seu pipyar heu kai bu pipyar jeu.  (also written as)

S pipyar H kai bu pipyar J.

S likes H and (but) doesnÕt like J.

So, you can derive pronouns from preceding nouns by using the letter-name of
the 
letter that  the nouns begin with.  This may or may not be a productive
system."

Now, note that the forms would be wrong if we switch to the nasalized names
for consonants.
