Rick,
These are the polarities from Lexical Semantics, Appendix B:
bi- maximal polarity
ge- high polarity
jan- average polarity
vo- low polarity
zu- minimal polarity
ju- 0% polarity
den- too, excessively, over-
boy- enough, adequately, sufficiently
vyu- almost, not quite, nearly, all but, well-nigh
jaw- just, only, exclusively, simply
zi- about, approximately, circa, more or less
gya- exactly, precisely, no more and no less
And here are the current ones, in the same order:
bi = maximal polarity
ge = high polarity/big
jan = average polarity
vo = low polarity/small
zu = minimal polarity
ju = zero/not/opposite/imaginary
dun = excessive polarity
za = own/possess/enough/sufficient polarity
day = possible/potential/almost polarity
gan = positive/gain/extra polarity
zwe = free/unrestrained/uncertain/approximate polarity
bwa = bound/restrained/certain/exact polarity
The third from last (formerly "jaw", now "gan") used to be 'just, only, exclusively, simply', and now it's the 'extra' polarity. What does 'extra polarity' mean?
