Ae!
Today I happened on some ASCII-art Gothic letters on the net
and tried to make some Tengwar in a similar style. Instead
it turned out something which looks very much like Hebrew
square script. The Lambe looks like a strange cross between
Hebrew Teth and Arabic Qhaa!
ASCII art must be viewed in a fixed width font, like
Courier. In the Yahoo interface click the link to the right
which says "Show Message Option" then "Use Variable Width
Font" which appears below.

Is there anyone else who does Tengwar ASCII art, BTW? It
would be fun to see what other have done! I usually don't do
entire 'alphabets', but only single words, most often
"Melroch" like here.
