There are currently 3225 stems in the dictionary.
Since there are 4177 entries, that's about 1.30 words per stem.  Since there are actually more like 4400 words (including the ones in the L notes that aren't part of the S files), that goes up to more than 1.36.

2724 (65%) have only one form.
2682 have only the stem; 42 have only a derivation.

The stems with the most derivations are:
25 zo-
20 tu-
19 wo-
18 wo'a-
14 wu-, yoba-
12 vi-, xu-
10 yofaba-

Curiously, most of these have no mods.
