Good afternoon, I learnt that the word for vinegar in many germanic languages, as Swedish, Dutch or German comes from the dialectal latin word *atêcum instead of *acêtum. Still I did not find no reflex of *actêcum in romance languages. Maybe it was in use in romance languages in areas where now germanic languages are spoken. Anyway I would like to have it in romlangs supposed for such areas. I am not sure to which extent I should use germanic latin, because they are not all attested or reconstructed for the same area. Yours /Thomas
