The WP page on Sardinian says that -kw- > bb." Is there a hint on how old that changes are? 'Gw' did not change, so far as I know. That was not planed as a surprise, it just came to me while writing. It could mean, that 'gu' did develop late to 'gw', which else, if it would have happened earlier, would have changed too or been lost. What do you think about 'dd'? Sardinian and related languages got that for 'll'.
