Yes, my page is in themidst of a revamp (that started last year!) and there are lots of links that don't work, especially in the dictionary. PRONUNCIATION: Carrajina's pronunciation is relatively simple. The stress is *always* penultimate unless the word is monosyllabic. The stressed vowels (in XSAMPA) are: A /a/ E /e/ I /i/ O /o/ U /u/. When unstressed A is unchanged, /e/ > /E/, /i/ > /I/, /o/ > /O/, /u/ > /U/. B /b/ C /k_h/ CH /t_S/ D /d/ DJ /d_Z/ F /f/ G /g/ H /h/, HU /W/ or /p\/ according to which dialect J /Z/ L /l/ M /m/ N /n/ Ñ /J/ P /p_h/ R /4/ RR /r/ S /s\/ T /t_h/ U /w/ when followed or preceeded by another vowel, if two UUs follow eachother the result is /wu/ or /wU/ depending on stress V /v/ X /S/ Z /z/ On Wed, Jul 27, 2011 at 2:17 PM, thomasruhm <thomas@hidden.email> wrote: > ** > > > Thank you.
