Here's the third try with my introduction to the new Romlang. Remember, this is a Northern Italian dialect that shades off into an East Romance language similar to Istrian or perhaps even Romanian proper. I say this since there are three genders and three cases. I'll try to post some of the sound changes (a GMP as it were) later, but I thought it would be nice to actually give you my examples in a readable format. The language isn't named yet. It will probably be named after some Roman town in modern day Slovenia, but I haven't decided where yet. Here is a sample vocabulary (with Vulgar Latin in parentheses) Cavallo horse (caballos) tou all (totu) fecà liver (fecatu) (neuter) ioscovo bishop (epscopos) autaia altar (altaria) chorri to look for (querere) castaio brown (castanjos) mutaì to change (mutare) fomac cheese (formaticu) (neuter) janolla window (januella) seia evening (sera) poia fight (pugna) gassueta young woman (garsonetta) tervaiaì to work (tripaliare) sambe blood (sanguis) limba tongue (lingua) brove short (brevis) --------- Okay, now to business.
