I don't know. Besides the Anglo-Romance subset of normal English you've mentioned, I have yet to see any Anglo-Latinate conlangs. I've done some extremely rudimentary work on the idea, but it never blossomed. It would be a very interesting conlanging project. The challenge would be (assuming we would want the conlang to seem authentic and fit in a reasonable historical context) gathering enough information about Anglo-Saxon or Old English grammar, phonology, orthography, and morphology to create a realistic and rich blend with Latin. If, however, we just want to create a language that blends Latin with English without attempting to believably explain its hypothetical existence, then Modern English would suffice as the second ingredient that we would blend with Latin. Either way, if we can't find such a conlang already created, it would certainly be a worthwhile project for any daring member of this group to undertake. --- In romconlang@yahoogroups.com, Clockwork Angel <clockwork@j...> wrote: > Are there any Anglo-Romance conlangs out there?
