I didn't see any # in the Latin-English dictionary, which was the most likely thing you meant by "the link". But # usually means a word-boundary; it's most often seen in the notation of sound-changes:

	u > o / _#

means "/u/ becomes /o/ when it immediately precedes a word-boundary" i.e. at the end of a word.
