Re: [romconlang] Ladino verb ending

It's 2pl - it comes from the Spanish endings -áis, -éis, -ís. I guess the /i/ merged with the /s/ in the same way that in English (at least my dialect) |sure| is pronounced with an initial /S/ that developed from /sj/.

Can you enlighten me? And what is its origin? A Portuguese
influence? I need to know, because I want to include some Ladino
features in my Arabo-Romance conlang "Ajami".
