Dear Romanceconlang Listers,
It recently occurred to me that you lovely people may be able to assist with a project I am initiating. It doesn't concern the construction of a language, but rather the re-construction of a language - namely proto-Romance.
There is a manuscript that is the only known surviving document written in proto-Romance, listed as MS408. It comprises in excess of two hundred pages and would take a single researcher many years to translate in order to reconstruct the lexicon and grammar it uses. Please see this paper:

My own time is rather limited due to other work commitments. So, perhaps some of you might be interested in contributing to the process as part of a concerted effort. It promises to be very interesting and the end result will be a new Romance language to communicate with.
Please let me know if you are at all interested.
Cheers,
Ricky Sheeger.
