Drat unt pfooey! Unt yippidoodle!

I just realized yesterday that I have a nasy little
problem in Carrajena. Months ago when I first started
searching for possible Punic words that would survive
into Carrajena I found a lovely little word that
became averi meaning "to live" unfortunately this is
the exact form that the verb "to have" has taken as
well. I can't see both meanings surviving, and since
"to have" is SUCH a common verb I figure this little
jewel must die. There's nothing wrong with viviri, I
just liked the other term because it was different.
Ah well, trials and tribulations of Conlangers.

On a happier note, I found a neat new word today. I
realized that I had made a mistake earlier which
appeared in the last text I sent. I had accidentally
conflated "cum" and "quum" into a single term -- pun.
Pun is the correct C-a form for "quum" but "cum"
should realize as cun. I also found sini today which,
of course, means "without". Now cun and sini are
rather dull, ordinary Romance terms, but I realized
that they combine to form a new word -- cunsini --
which means "however", "in whatever way", or more
colloquially, "by hook or by crook".

As soon as I saw that I realized that this term could
take the ending -istu/ -ista to form cunsinistu/ -a --
"the kind of person who will do anything to achieve
his or her ends" and the verb cunsiniri "to do
anything (ethical or not) to achieve one's goal".
This I thought was rather neat.
