Re: [katanda] english vs. english?

Title: Re: [katanda] english vs. english?
"i want him to go"
and
"i want that he goes"

because in the first _expression_ we could use that focus -> patient suffix.
(the second sentence is ambigious, as it doesn't tell whether he is actually
going, which is wanted, or if his going exists only in my will. the first
sentence _must_ mean that it is only wanted that he goes, he doesn't go
actually, yet.)

i'm not sure the distinction you're making between these two sentences is valid.  the second one is very odd, and in fact, means exactly the same as the first, at least to me.
