lesson 4:
another example for the neccessity of a modality-argument:
I want my dogs to drink.
Ki ponko fa boca lizaypwe foy.
as written above, the latenkwa-sentence means
"i want that my dogs drank." = "my dogs drank." + "i wanted that".
but we need:
"in my will my dogs should drink." =
will:
patient: I
focus: my dogs
modality-argument: drink (patient same as focus of main verb)
= "I want my dogs to drink"
