how do we say "to perform music" in one word?

stefo,
does german have a single word for "perform music"?  i don't think english does, i can't think of one.  "to play", "to sing", "to perform", are all unfocused, and adding the focus adds a word or two.  even if we could say "he musicked", it still doesn't mean that he performed music; it might be some other activity related to music, like conducted (an orchestra) or listened to music, or even sold music memorabilia.

stevo,
afaik, we say "musizieren". in esperanto it's "muziki". hm... it would be like saying "tintoksa" or "timwaksa".
