Re: [katanda] sulupu foy

Title: Re: [katanda] sulupu foy
steven,
thank you for your answers.

daybe degompa tumi vatsi peju.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean.
"day-" is a prefix added to nouns (usually names) used to form vocatives, and is not part of the argument structure of the sentence.  I don't know what you want it to mean by putting it on "be".
degompa tumi vatsi = you wrote something
peju = the definite article, but what is it modifying here?  'vatsi'?
(If this is meant to mean "thank you for this letter.", then I'm really lost.  In any case, you're welcome.)

oops. "daybe" is absolutely wrong. i wanted to form something that means "thanks".
and yes, i meant "vatsi peju" as "this something". hm. wrong?
stephan,
sts.
