old vs. new/young

Rick,
Is there any distinction in Katanda between old as not-new vs. old as not-young? 

Are these right?  E.g.,
My old friend is a young person. = Batsa lifye xansa foy byo buxansa va.

My new friend is an old person. = Batsa lifye densa foy byo xansa va.

I keep expecting "budensa" as "old" as in the first sentence.
