I just found the following in LS 4.2:
>Now, in the interlingua, we will allocate the special, true generic root
"va". This root will have no semantics of its own, but will instead
take its semantics (including its class and part-of-speech) from the
prefix that immediately precedes it.
This pretty much answers my question about "teava". Do the prefixes have default class and part of speech?
