I think {ja'a} is what overrides the implicit negation in {no}. {noroi} = {na su'oroi}.
Does the 'noroi' carry from the previous sentence? Because if the former is true and the latter is false, we have "mi noroi puza xabju le kadno" which, if it parsed, would certainly not be what I want to say. ]
{puza noroi} parses as one tense. {noroi puza} I think breaks down as {noroiku puza}.

IMO, the fact that the word 'imply' is used for both strictly logical and obviously non-logical purposes in English is a travesty, and should not be carried over to lojban. I'm looking for something else that carries the meaning of the English word 'imply' when used in non-logical situations. Perhaps bilga.
I don't know, {nibli} has an x3 place to specify which kind of implication you want. I don't see non-logical implications as forcing anything. co'o mi'e xorxes _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
