When Neil and I started this novel, we decided to use Ceqli. Ceqli wasn't developing fast enough, so I just made some mini-reforms of Esperanto to begin with. Later, I decided to revamp the whole thing and use Ceqli instead. I got most all of it translated for the comic book version but missed one part, evidently. So the rationale now is that Classical Texperanto is the language Z originally made, and later he, and others, put together the Ceqli system, and by 1947 it was in use by some, and it was itself popularly known as 'Texperanto.' Whew! It's hard to make languages and write comic books at the same time.
