The 'si' thing is interesting, in that it can make anything that makes sense into a quantifer: glon si pani - glassful of water dom si kanin - houseful of dogs But can be used, of course, with straight numbers. han si, doy si, tri si, etc. So other words that are strictly about amount will also be in the number class. What do you think of 'fyu' for few and 'fwi' for many? Nice reversal? And I -do- think I can use the Loglan system thus: go ten fyu si hon. I have a few books. go ten poyfyu to hon. I have a few of the books. the 'poy' meaning decimal point, and the meaning is that taking 'the books' as a group, I have a -fraction- of them. Means a little more with mass nouns: go ten poyfyu to pani. I have some of the water. Am I on the right track, Loglan experts?
