The main heading of a page should have

<H1>Title of the chapter</H1>

Section headings should have

<H2>Title of the section</H2>

Sub-sections can be labeled

<H3>Title of the subsection</H3>

In theory, you can go down to H6, but most browsers
will render H4--H6 headings as _smaller_ than normal
paragraph text, so they're not very useful.

Of course, line breaks don't matter in HTML,
so if you like you can format the headings as

<H2>
Title of the section
</H2>

if that seems more convenient to you while
editing the the documents.

It's important to include the final </a> tag
for any <a href = "..."> hyperlinks. On the main page
there is at least one tag that's left open, which means clicking
in blank space anywhere on the page unexpectedly goes
to the page linked in the unclosed link.
