Some languages (Arabic, I think) seem to get by with a single word for "long" and "tall." Since tall just means "long in a vertical direction, I think ceqli can too. The base word is, coincidentally, Arabic "tauil", (ta-WEEL), opposite "tliua" (TLEE-wa). And, when necessary, compounds could be made - veritauil "vertically long", horitliua "horizontally short" etc. -- Rex F.
