But it happens in languages sometimes that very commonly-used constructs are not the shortest ones. Loglan and Lojban really needed to get their use of little words right the first time, since there is a limited number of them. In Ceqli we have more flexibility and forgiveness, because the fundamental structure of 'little' words is the same as 'big' words. ---Krawn
