Another thought: Loglan uses 4 vowels for the primary connectives: a e o u. i is used as a sort of vague connective. Anyhow, my first thought way back was to pretty much keep the Loglan system but adapt it to ceqli phonology. So maybe, since ceqli has 4 basic diphthongs, they can replace the vowels. Loglan and ceqli equivalents, thus: e - and - kay a - and/or - key o - if and only if - kaw u - whether or not - koy And i can be replace by ki. that would mean: noa > bukey anoi > keybu -- Rex F.
