I notice that I got lost here: To gasa daryasol hu zi pa gi bol tem sta ci. The big sailor you were talking about is here. Now, it is likely one could get lost in that sentence, so "da" can be repeated, in the French mode: To gasa daryasol hu zi pa gi bol, se sta ci. The big sailor you were talking about, he is here. all this at http://www.geocities.com/ceqli/gramintro.html Am I just coding English when I say To gasa daryasol hu zi pa gi bol tem sta ci. That is, the use of tem in tandem with bol. The grammar I'm using knee-jerk seems to work this way. Go bol. I speak. Go bol ceqlibol. I speak cegli. Go bol ceqlibol zi. I speak ceqli to you. Go bol ceqlibol zi tem ti jo. I speak ceqli to you about Joe. or just Go bol tem ti jo. I speak about Joe. And, in the spirit of common sense: Go bol zi. I speak to you. I think "tem" is acting as a Mandarin-type coverb here. Anyhow, I now see that in that last sentence, To gasa daryasol hu zi pa gi bol, se sta ci. I need to insert a tem: To gasa daryasol hu zi pa gi bol tem, se sta ci. Is this consistent? -- >PLEASE NOTE MY NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS: rmay@hidden.email > Rex F.
