I've decided that the Ceqli word for 'person' should be 'so' from Eng. 'so-and-so'. It can be used alone or as an ending (gunso - gunman). And 'xi' means 'woman' and can be used as a prefix or adjective meaning 'female'. So far so good. Now, the word for 'male' has been 'zo,' but that's phonetically too close to 'so', consequently, we need a new word for man/male. It ought to end with 'o' so as to preserve its mnemonics with the pseudo-morphs -o and -i, used to form kinship terms. [frer - sibling, frero -brother, freri -sister]. I'm considering 'jo' (Engl male name) or 'vo' (suggests 'virile'). Any preference or other suggestions? -- >PLEASE NOTE MY NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS: rmay@hidden.email > Rex F.
