I appreciate the rigor of the loglan approach, but I have a hard time mentally working with the x1 blah blah x2 blah x3 format. I guess I would prefer a system that was unambiguous about the actor and (where appropriate) the focus, but which left all the other details to be handled by prepositional phrases. It just seems simpler. I have minor quibbles with some of the word choices, because different words end up too close together. One example is 'bel' and 'beli'. I fear that trailing vowels are not enough to distinguish a word, because so many languages don't use them that way. I still appreciate the aims of cengli, and find it to be an interesting effort. But I'm currently spending my linguistic time on my own project, which is a blend of Glosa syntax, Romance vocabulary, and EarthMinimal minimalism (500 roots). Kevin
