Basically, "god" (and "God") mean a lot of different things to different people. Is there a single definition that makes sense in a neutral language? Just to throw out an alternative viewpoint, perhaps there shouldn't be a word for god. Perhaps "God" would be metaphysical+masculine+creator whereas a Roman "god" might be supernatural+man and the new age concept of "god" might be creator-energy-everywhere. Just a thought. You could, of course, be traditional and just say 'cyn' = "god" and let people define it for themselves. Kevin
