Rex May:
>> >> Zoy it is! Now, we need an 'any' prefix, because we're going to have to >> drop the Hindi 'koy,' as being too close to 'zoy.' Mike Wright: Gin may work. Also maybe kel from French Quelqu'un Ray:-> Or 'kal' or from Interlingua "qualcun", Spanish
"cual-quier" (Italian "qual-che"). Note though that in Spanish "anybody"
is "quien-quiera (Ital. "chiun-que", "any place/anywhere" is "donde-quiera"
(Ital. "qualsiasi posto"), "any time" is cuando-quiera, "anyhow" is "de
cualquier modo" (Ital. in ogni modo), "anything" is "cualquier cosa" (Ital.
qualsiasi cosa"). So the "-quier" part of the Spanish words is
actually more significant than the "cual-" part. Is the word "kwe" still
available? English "any" derives from Middle English "aenig" related to
German "einig" both of which contain your "gin" backwards, but you might need
"gin" for "metal" if you were to consider "gor" for "gold". What do you
have for Friday (gold/metal-day)?
