At one point, I had a whole set of kinship terms to avoid this very problem. They were made with sub-morphemes i and o. Pam parent Pami mother pamo father And also Cel person Celi woman Celo man Then I realized I was tripling the number of morphemes, and kind of insuring that any morph ending in i or o would be interpreted as some sexed term, so I went with the admittedly dubious xi and zo ending. At the same time, I dropped cel (from the Russian chelovek) and adopted pe (from Eng person), and only later found out that Glosa had done the same thing long ago. -- >PLEASE NOTE MY NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS: rmay@hidden.email > Rex F.
