Maybe "kudinfusiga" = kudinfusi + ig

kudinfusi [P-s] - piano. [Etym: number/count/group + happy/music/singing + device/instrument/tool]

Here are some suggestions for "play (music)".  Do you mean like on a radio or a recording?

The suffix "ig" (apply/use noun) could still work with appropriate nouns, but it wouldn't specifically refer to music.

foyfabisiga - use/play the radio
dayzunfimiga - use/play the recording

foyfabisi [P-s] - radio (receiver), wireless. Foykiva bavi zugi busege foyfabisi = I heard the performance on the radio. See also "kwafabisi", "bayfabisi", and "fabisi". [Etym: loud/sound/hearing + TRANSCEIVER]

dayzunfimi [P-s] - recording. The verb meaning 'record/make a recording of' is the A/F-d [+P] derivation "dayzunfimambosa". [Etym: equal/same/fair + performance/actor/substitute/similar/compare + social item]

An action verb can be made from "dinzugi" ('music'), e.g., adding "-ap-" (A/P-d) gives "dinzugapa" - make something into music, musical performance.  But this isn't really what you asked for.

dinzugi [P-s] - music, musical performance. [Etym: happy/music/singing + complete performance]

Another possibility is to use "kavapa" ('make, cause') with "dinzugi" ('music'):

Kavapa bavi ludinzugi = I made music.

kavapa - cause, make, create, produce, have, let's, bring into being, cause to become a reality.
