deictic classifiers

The deictic classifiers are formed by adding the number modifiers for one through seven to the letters "l", "m", "p", "s", and "v", giving the classifiers very limited productive potential.  They can change part of speech or add prefixes, but they can't change modifiers.
If the classifiers are considered to be just the letters "l", "m", "p", "s", and "v", then they have some productive potential, namely, the seven different persons.
It's a way of reducing the number of deictic classifiers from 32 to 5.
It would also constitute an exception to the shape of classifiers as CVC.  And it makes the deictics a more obvious and distinctive subclass of classifiers.
Looking at them this way doesn't change anything.  The classifiers have the same shape either way.  It's the difference between saying the 'classifier "bav" is formed from "ba-" plus "v" for personal pronoun' vs. '"bav" is formed from "ba-" plus classifier "v" for personal pronoun'.
