What is the reason for making the POS of the following five words disjunct instead of verb?
tamemu - Maybe, Perhaps, That's possible.
bitamemu - Yes, That's correct.
ketamemu - Probably, That's probably correct.
fotamemu - Probably not, Not likely, That's probably not correct.
jutamemu - No, That's not true, That's wrong, That's incorrect.
The following words all seem to be verbal disjuncts too, but their POS is still verb.
xedapema - However, ..., Even so, ..., Nevertheless, ..., But, Still, ..., Yet, Just the same, ..., Notwithstanding, ..., For all that, ..., that as it may, ... [index] Note that Xedapema is a verbal disjunct and takes a single clause for an argument. Since this relationship is symmetrical, the anti-middle form Xedapoma has exactly the same meaning.
zunxumoma - Similarly, ..., Likewise, ..., In like manner, ... [index] Note that Zunxumoma is a verb that takes a single core argument, even though the English translation requires a fronted adverb.
