As promised, here is the passage from the Constitution of the New South Wales Branch of the Liberal Party of Australia:
3.2.4(1)(c): "[A] Branch Member of an Ordinary Branch or a Young Liberal Branch does not have any Branch Membership Rights with respect to his or her membership of that Branch if the Branch is not allocated to the SEC in the State electorate where the person's Principal Place of Residence is located or to an adjoining State electorate unless the person's Principal Place of Residence was previously in such a State electorate and not more than three months has expired since the person's Principal Place of Residence ceased to be in that State electorate[.]"
