another sound scheme

Rick,
Here's another possible sound scheme.

There are 96 classifiers.  One way to get exactly 96 syllables is to use 12 initials with 8 finals.  The 12 initials are all unvoiced, allowing the voiced counterparts to be the modifiers.  The initials are c, f, s, k, p, t, plus kl, kr, pl, pr, tl, tr.  The 8 finals are a, e, i, o, u, aw, ay, oy.

The biggest difference here is the consonant clusters and especially "tl" (and "dl"), which are common enough in Slavic and some non-Indo-European languages.

I think this would result in a low, possibly minimal number of tongue-twisters.
